Q: Can I create no-carry addition problems? If so, how?

A: Yes you can create no-carry addition problems.
A "No Carry" check-box automatically appears on the Advanced Print Preview screen if the maximum sum is larger than 19. The checkbox appears for integer problems, but not for decimals.
A similar "No Carry" checkbox is used for multiplication problems.
A "No Borrow" checkbox is used for subtraction problems.

Q: Why aren't partial products shown in the solutions to multiple-digit multiplication problems?

A: We intentionally give the answer only, without showing partial products. That way, when the student gets an answer wrong he must look over his entire solution to find the mistake. This is good practice.
We have the same philosophy in division--we intentionally give the answer only, and don't show the work.
